Teacher Training in Carlisle, 2027-28
The PGCE provision via our local Carlisle schools will have a different label next year but we can reassure you it will barely change at all in format.
Carlisle Schools Alliance has been a delivery partner for One Cumbria. Provision will move to be directly through One Cumbria.
We’re expecting to continue our long tradition of recruiting excellent trainee teachers in the Carlisle/Cumbria area, using our existing network of local schools for placements, with most training days (as is already the norm) being at our room at QEGS, Penrith.
Please make applications via the DFE’s “Get into Teaching” website, looking for One Cumbria courses.
Any queries during the current academic year can be emailed to Dave Medley: dme@trinity.cumbria.sch.uk or Sarah Marchant: marchants@qegs.cumbria.sch.uk
