India: 2016 World Challenge
The 2016 World challenge expedition has just returned from an amazing experience in Southern India. The 13 sixth form students travelled with Mr Sadler and Miss Ashton to Cochin.

The group planned and undertook a trek through the Western Ghats mountain range before working with a primary school in Alleppi where we built a playground as well as teaching maths, country dancing and singing. After our hard work we had a final two days in a colonial hotel overlooking the backwaters of the Arabian sea where we kayaked and took a long ferry trip to the nearest town and back. The entire experience was amazing for all concerned and our group of students were inspirational in leadership, camaraderie and interacting with people from a completely different culture. We learnt so much and will remember it for ever.
The school is undertaking a World Challenge venture in 2018 please see Mr Winter for details.
