We spent these two sessions refining our drawings and transferring to acetate sheets so that the light could shine through the artwork. The students really enjoyed this process.

We took the designs that were complete and the year 8 Art Ambassadors chose the themes that they thought would go well together in a collage and discussed which parts worked well and which didn’t. They also discussed colour combinations and if we wanted to add any text.

This is the beginning of the end, the final frontier, the glass final design with colour, ready to become the window, it was made to do this, born to do this.

Lisa Trevorrow, Abbi Kilfedder, James Clark and Ella van Lierop took the original designs and started to piece and draw them in a collage formation. We looked at which iconic buildings should be used and how we would represent the light element. We had a meeting with Tim to discuss his thoughts and drew some sketches which were ten used to create the final piece.
