Recently in the UK, a new app was released on the app store called Pokémon Go which, at the time of writing this has had 10+ million installs on the android marketplace alone.
Players of Pokémon Go, on average, are playing about 43 minutes a day. This means, in a week, players will burn about 1,250 calories. (BBC)
Nintendo’s stock value has increased by nearly 50% because of this new blockbuster.
This game has got a lot more people outside. People are out searching for Pokémon around you. Go and look in town, and the chances of you seeing someone catching a new Pokémon is very high.
The app also has a feature which is that you have to walk different distances to get some of your eggs hatched. Some eggs take different lengths to hatch, some can be 2k, some 5k and some even 10k (kilometres).
Pokémon Go also has its bad points though. It has got a few people in trouble, as one guy actually called 999 to report a ‘stolen Pokémon’.
So, my advice to you, is stay safe while playing. You gotta catch em’ all!
